In the prevailing wind directions the wind is clear and the water shallow and flat = gorgeous.
As a place to work on everything ‘non wavy’ but especially waterstarts, early planing, getting into straps, speed, moves of all kind and especially especially the carve gybe, it doesn’t get any better.

We suggest you bring your own kit but the clinic price includes free demo of OTC boards and rigs. The course
For the first time I’m running a two day
course – it was after a request from my last group at the OTC who couldn’t get enough of the place.
I’ve set the course during half term week – an option is to make the course part of a longer holiday and explore this fabulous stretch of coastline .. or just windsurf ever day!As with all my courses, it’s about personal attention. I help you set your own agenda and we work through it together.
But see this as a chance over the two days to really try something new – be it a new move, a new board, a new set up or a new sailing style.
By May the days are long so we can put in hours of water time.
There are loads of places to stay or camp in the Weymouth/Portland region but Tris Best (the OTC owner) will be happy to advise.
On Tuesday evening I plan to hold the debrief in a local pub over dinner.
