About This Project

Apologies that the course is reading FULL. Last year’s team get first refusal and due to the lure of the place, most want to come again!
HOWEVER, we do get cancellations, so if you want to be put on the subs bench, please let me know.

BRANDON BAY and the Maharees
Brandon Bay and the Dingle peninsula – it’s like someone with ultimate power has decided to concoct a tailor-made windsurfing heaven. The North and south sides of the peninsula along with Tralee Bay and Straggane Bay cater for every possible wind and wave direction – and offer dreamy sheltered free-ride, practice spots.

The clinic focuses on waves but  when conditions suit, we’ll do a flat water general skills session.
Note that the clinic is 5 days and runs Sunday to Thursday
but you get to stay in the cottages for a week from Saturday midday to Saturday midday

Clinic Cost:  £495

Accommodation: £150 pp (or € rate at time of booking )  for a week (Saturday to Saturday) based on 2 sharing a room.
Single room supplement £50 (£200 for the week)

KIT and Travel
Bring your own kit and drive over.
Those coming from the UK, there are many ferry options:
From the south of England the Fisguard/Pembroke to Rosslaire services through Stena and Irish Ferries ferries are quickest. It’s about a 4.5 hour drive from Rosslaire to Brandon Bay.

From the north of England , Stena and Irish Ferries from Holyhead to Dublin.
The improved road from Dublin to Tralee means it’s now about a 4 hour drive.

Check out some Kerry highlights!
