06 Oct POST LOCKDOWN CLINIC NEWS Oct ’21
I know we’ll never be rid of this darn disease but it’s sure beginning to feel like normal again!
In June we went to Rhodes, my first overseas clinic in 18 months. Forms were filled out and tests booked – it was something of a logistical nightmare but we did it!
The feeling of relief when we all gathered in the Blue Horizon bar for our first meet was palpable. WE WERE ON HOLIDAY!!
The local restauranteur Costas was so happy to see us that we plied us with the finest Ouzo and from that moment on the party never stopped.
As a reward for our efforts the wind blew all week.
The place was busy enough to be fun but the water was delightfully uncrowded and we had the pick of the kit.
It was SO good to be back.
Since then is has been all systems go. I have just returned form 3 weeks in Donegal, where we had every condition under the sun – and there was sun – glassy swells and 20º, as well as side off, cross and side-on conditions to die for.
And of course the evenings were as entertaining as the days.
THE FUTURE – business as usual … apart from Brazil.
Unless things take a sudden for the worse, it’s going to be business as usual for the end of 2021 and beginning 2022.
The only casulaty is Brazil which remains on the red list. But I’m definitely lining it up for Jan 2023.
I head to Mauritius in November. – sadly that one is full.
The beginning of ’22 sees me luxuriating in the Caribbean.
I’ve replaced the Jeri clinic with an extra week to Tobago in Jan. I then return to Tobago in March for 2 back to back weeks.
NOTE THERE ARE STILL PLACES ON THE FIRST TWO TOBAGO CLINICS.
KERRY ’22 then RHODES
Kerry had to be cancelled both in ’20 and ’21 so not surprisingly the 2 May clinics are full from everyone rolling over their bookings..
However – about to come online is my annual trip to Rhodes.
Dates scheduled from 15-22 June – so watch this space for details.
Also keep an eye on my site and my Peter Hart FB made for spontaneous one and 2 days clinics at the OTC in Portland.|
I have 2 scheduled for 11-12 and 18-19 October.
